BOSTON – Mass Mentoring Partnership (MMP), a statewide organization dedicated to expanding empowering youth-adult relationships in Massachusetts, is excited to announce that they will receive $100 from the Berkshire Bank Foundation for every Boston Bruins’ assist through December 1. This is part of Berkshire Bank’s “Exciting Assists Program”, in partnership with New England Sports Network (NESN), to support and highlight the great works of non-profit organizations during the hockey season.

MMP joins Bottom Line and the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless as this year’s non-profits chosen to receive funds through the Exciting Assists Program. An assist occurs when a Boston player shoots, passes or deflects the puck towards a scoring teammate, or touches it in any other way which enables a goal, meaning they were "assisting" in the goal.
