The Sports Museum
The Sports Museum would like to extend an offer to all youth groups associated with the Rodman Ride For Kids to visit The Sports Museum free of charge. As Mass Mentoring Partnership is affilated with the Ride, so is our network of 190+ mentoring programs around Massachusetts.
Groups can participate in Score With Character, the museum's core program that focuses on the importance of character to success in sports - and in life. Programs, which take about 90 minutes, include a scavenger hunt and, whenever possible, a tour of the TD Garden. For more information on Score With Character or any of our education programs, please visit the Sports Museum web site.
To schedule a visit, contact Michelle Gormley at 617.624.1233 or mgormley@dncboston.com. Please mention that you are a participating agency in the Rodman Ride For Kids. Please note that scheduling is done on a first come first served basis and is subject to change due to the TD Garden’s schedule.
Match Activity Handbook
The 2010 Highland Street Corps Ambassadors of Mentoring updated the Match Activity Handbook, which provides program staff and mentors with a starting point for planning fun activities, trips and events. It includes activities around all the regions of Massachusetts that are free or low-cost; activities for site-based programs; and activities for matches to participate in year-round and seasonally. It features sections for both community and site-based programs throughout Massachusetts.

Match of the Game
Vince Wilfork, his wife Bianca, 98.5 The Sports Hub, and the New England Patriots Radio Network extended an invitation to mentor/mentee matches in the MMP network to attend a Patriots home game for the 2011 season as their special guests. Learn more!
Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation 
The Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation is chose MMP - and by extension, our network of more than 190 mentoring programs - as a community partner for its fourth annual ticket donationprogram during the 2010-11 season.
