Mentor Recruitment on a Shoestring
Recruiting adult mentors to serve youth is a great challenge. A structured recruitment plan that is well-implemented increases chances of success. Many programs worry that they cannot recruit mentors because they have limited resources and funding, but even on a small budget it is still possible to effectively promote volunteer opportunities within your organization to adults in the community. This training will provide an overview of best practices in mentor recruitment; the steps to develop a targeted year-round plan for recruitment; important steps after recruitment; and additional resources for improving marketing and mentor recruitment skills.
Registration Fee: $45.00 for the first person from an organization and $30.00 for each additional person
