Developing Workplace Mentoring Partnerships
The Developing Workplace Mentoring Partnerships training opportunity is geared toward programs that have attended the Mentor Recruitment on a Shoestring training and/or are up and running with the capacity to branch out and sustain workplace mentoring partnerships.
Learn the "how-to’s" of developing workplace partnerships to effectively recruit potential mentors from the employee pool. The training will focus on practical tips and strategies, from building a relationship with the staff that can open the right doors at the corporation to recruiting messages that will resonate with the employees who you want to become mentors. Participants will develop a short "sales pitch" to use for potential partners. MMP’s Director of Marketing and Mentoring Recruitment, Chris McCue, along with a local corporate representative will share their expertise and offer suggestions to programs on how to present their "sales-pitch" to corporations and other potential workplace mentoring partners.
This training is followed by the fall Western MA Networking Session. Training participants are encouraged to attend the Networking Session. Lunch will be provided for Networking participants.

*Please note there will be a Western MA networking session following the training from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Lunch will be served at the networking session. There is no charge for lunch but registration is required so that we have an accurate lunch count.
