As the 2017-2018 Highland Street AmeriCorps Ambassador of Mentoring program comes to a close, we asked one of our Father Monan Fellows, Maria Paredes, to recap the service year on behalf of all corps members. Maria served at Chica Project for two years.

Another AAOM service year is coming to an end and so much has happened!

As a part of my second year of service and as a Father Monan Fellow, for the last 11 months I have been keeping track of our stories through newsletters, social media campaigns and blog posts to meet the needs of my public relations responsibilities for the corps.

To conclude my role, I decided to create a set of visual representations of my cohort’s service year. I asked them the questions provided below as a way to reflect and sum up our experience. Please enjoy the video below:
