Supporting mentoring matches is vital to ensuring the quality of empowering youth-adult relationships. Match support helps to keep the lines of communication open, show appreciation, and can sometimes preempt challenging situations. Join MMP for our three-hour training to learn, share, and practice various methods to support youth and adults in your program. Participants will learn how to navigate challenging situations that may arise when working with mentors, as well as how to broaden the concept of support to better connect mentors to the youth and families they serve. This training is appropriate for individuals with some experience supporting relationships that want to strengthen their practices. Participants will receive the Advanced Match Support Workbook that includes tips and tools for program support.
