Building a Quality Program

A two-day intensive training (9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days) so that your youth mentoring program is developed, operated, and sustained at the highest level of quality based on the Elements of Effective Practice, the nationally recognized research-driven practices in the field.

The training focuses on program development, including models and structures; the definition of mentoring, using research as a guide for establishing practices; setting goals and objectives; assessing community needs and setting goals to meet the need; program management and policies and procedures; core operational practices such as mentoring screening, support and recruitment; and program evaluation.

Registration Fee:  $75 per person (both days on your own for lunch)

Location: Large Training Room at Cambridge Family & Children’s Service, 60 Gore St., Cambridge.
Public Transportation is highly recommended. Green Line – Lechmere Stop – about a two minute walk.
Parking is available at the Cambridge Side Galleria – about a seven minute walk.
