Mass Mentoring is gearing up for this year's Rodman Ride for Kids on Sept. 25, a 25-, 50- or 100-mile bike ride that raises funds in support of at-risk youth across Massachusetts. Each year almost 2,000 individuals participate in the Rodman Ride for Kids as riders or volunteers.

The Rodman Ride for Kids is the third largest single-event fundraiser in the country and this year celebrates its 20th anniversary. MMP is a beneficiary agency of the Ride, which means we receive every dollar we raise plus a 10 percent match and incur none of the event expenses. We have participated in the Ride since 2003, and have grown from raising $80,000 in our first year to more than $250,000 in 2009.
